Assistant Professor. Wi'am Karim Al-Mousawi , a faculty member in the Department of Design at the College of Fine Arts, Al-Mustaqbal University, participated in the Sixth International Conference of the College of Archeology at Al-Qadisiyah University, titled "The Archaeology of Mesopotamia from Nippur to the Ancient Kufa Pilgrimage Road: Between the Authenticity of Artifacts and the Uniqueness of Heritage." She presented her research entitled "The Octagonal Plan of the Crusader Dome and Its Impact on Defining Its Function," which explored the artistic and architectural aspects related to the Crusader dome and how its function was determined based on the octagonal planning.<br /><br />This research represents a significant contribution to the study of cultural and architectural heritage, enhancing our understanding of how arts and heritage can be integrated into modern contexts.
