A Lecturer at the College of Arts and Humanities Gives a Scientific Seminar Titled "Media Between Development and Sustainable Development"<br /><br />The Assistant Lecturer, Haider Jabar, from the Department of Archeology at the College of Arts and Humanities, gave a scientific seminar titled "Media Between Development and Sustainable Development" on Monday, March 11, 2025.<br /><br />This seminar comes within the framework of promoting the fourth goal of the Sustainable Development Goals, which focuses on "Quality Education." The seminar discussed the role of media in achieving this goal by raising awareness and building community knowledge on sustainable development issues.<br /><br />The seminar revolved around the vital role media plays in enhancing the concepts of sustainable development, with a focus on the challenges faced by the media in addressing development issues at both the local and global levels. Mr. Haider Jabar emphasized the importance of utilizing media as a strategic tool to raise environmental, social, and economic awareness, shedding light on issues that affect the sustainability of human and natural resources.<br /><br />The seminar was attended by a number of professors and students interested in the field, providing a valuable opportunity to exchange ideas and experiences on the importance of media in fostering sustainable change in society.<br /><br />The seminar also addressed how media influences the formation of public policies and the promotion of societal behaviors in line with sustainable development goals, which focus on preserving the environment, achieving social justice, and providing sustainable economic opportunities for future generations.
