Recently, genetic analysis based on deep learning techniques has proven to be a powerful tool in medicine, particularly in the development of targeted therapies for complex diseases like cancer. By analyzing genetic data in a deeper and more precise manner, artificial intelligence can uncover patterns and genetic traits that may be invisible using traditional methods.

Deep learning, a branch of artificial intelligence, can process vast amounts of genetic data to identify mutations and changes that contribute to disease progression. For instance, this technology can be used to understand how genetic mutations influence breast or colon cancer, leading to the development of more effective therapies targeting specific genetic mutations.

Moreover, genetic analysis using deep learning can identify patients who are more likely to respond to certain treatments, helping doctors tailor therapies more effectively. These targeted treatments are not only more effective but also safer, as drugs are designed to interact specifically with affected cells without impacting healthy tissues.

Despite these advantages, challenges remain regarding the cost and widespread availability of genetic analysis technologies, as well as the continuous need to update genetic databases to ensure accurate diagnoses and treatments.

Al-Mustaqbal University is the first University in Iraq.
