Opening of the College of Administrative Sciences International Scientific Conference, titled" Poverty and Sustainable Development in Iraq: The Cost of Impact and Policy Response"

The College of Administrative Sciences opened its international scientific conference, titled "Poverty and Sustainable Development in Iraq: The Cost of Impact and Policy Response," with broad participation from prominent academic and administrative figures, and in the presence of the University President, Professor Hassan Shaker Majdi, a number of prominent official and community figures, and a select group of researchers from various Iraqi universities.<br />The opening session featured welcoming remarks that highlighted the importance of the conference in light of the economic and social challenges facing Iraq. The conference also emphasized the role of scientific research in formulating effective policies to address poverty and achieve sustainable development.<br />The first day of the conference included research presentations that addressed poverty issues from multiple perspectives, discussed possible strategies to promote social justice and balanced development, and presented practical recommendations applicable to the Iraqi context.<br />This conference affirms the vital role academic institutions play in analyzing national crises and providing well-thought-out scientific solutions, contributing to building a better future for Iraq. Al-Mustaqbal University is the first university in Iraq.
