Digital health has brought about a radical transformation in the way healthcare is delivered, combining modern technology with medical sciences to provide more efficient and effective services. Digital health is defined as the use of information and communication technologies to improve health and patient care. It includes mobile phone applications, electronic health platforms, wearable devices, and artificial intelligence.
One of the most prominent aspects of digital health is the ability to collect and analyze health data in real time, allowing for early intervention and accurate, rapid decision-making. Digital health also contributes to facilitating access to medical services, especially in remote areas or those with poor infrastructure.
Moreover, patients can now monitor their health conditions independently through apps that measure blood pressure, blood sugar levels, or heart rate. Telemedicine is one of the most important applications of digital health, enabling patients to consult with doctors without the need to visit hospitals, which reduces pressure on the healthcare system and saves time and money.
Although this digital revolution brings great benefits, it also imposes challenges such as privacy protection, data security, and ensuring equitable access to these technologies. Therefore, integrating digital health requires legal and ethical frameworks that ensure its safe and responsible use, making it one of the most important areas of medical innovation in the twenty-first century.

Al-Mustaqbal University is the first university in Iraq
