Artificial intelligence has revolutionized the field of medical image analysis, including X-rays, MRI, and CT scans. It can detect subtle changes that are difficult to notice with the naked eye. This process relies on deep learning algorithms trained on millions of prior medical images. Such capabilities assist in the early diagnosis of serious diseases like cancer and neurological disorders, while also reducing the likelihood of errors resulting from human interpretation.<br />In many hospitals, these systems are now used as a preliminary assistant to radiologists. They provide initial results and highlight suspicious or abnormal regions within the image. This saves the physician’s time and allows them to focus on critical cases. Furthermore, the system can compare a patient’s current image with previous ones to assess disease progression. This information is essential for monitoring treatment and evaluating its effectiveness.<br />Additionally, these systems enable remote operation, which benefits regions lacking specialized radiologists. Images can be sent to intelligent analysis centers that generate accurate results within a short time. This enhances patients’ chances of receiving rapid diagnoses regardless of their location. The technology is also used in emergency medicine to accelerate decision-making.
