In line with Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education), and as part of the preparations for the Sustainability Camp, the Department of Optics Technologies at the College of Health and Medical Technologies – Al-Mustaqbal University organized a workshop entitled:<br /><br />“The Civil Liability of Digital Platforms for Intellectual Property Rights Violations”, delivered by Asst. Lecturer Ibrahim Saad Abdul-Kadhim, on Monday, September 15, 2025, at 7:15 PM via the Zoom platform.<br />The workshop targeted university staff, the university’s Sustainability Ambassadors, and students, and addressed key scientific and legal issues related to mechanisms of protecting intellectual property rights in the digital environment, the challenges faced by online platforms, and the academic role in promoting a culture of respecting intellectual property as a cornerstone for achieving sustainable development.<br /><br />This workshop comes as part of a series of scientific and awareness activities organized by the Department of Optics Technologies, reflecting its commitment to enhancing legal and academic awareness among students and staff, in alignment with the university’s vision and mission of supporting quality education and innovation.<br /><br />Al-Mustaqbal University – the leading institution among private universities.
