Information technology and artificial intelligence in early medical diagnosis represent a qualitative revolution in healthcare, as smart algorithms and big data analysis can now be employed to detect diseases at their earliest stages before they escalate and negatively affect human health. This advancement provides physicians with accurate and rapid results that support the development of effective treatment plans, while also reducing healthcare costs through prevention and minimizing the need for surgeries or expensive interventions. The integration of IT and AI empowers healthcare systems to deliver more equitable and comprehensive care, extending medical services to underserved populations in remote areas or regions suffering from shortages of medical staff. This direction directly supports Sustainable Development Goal 3, “Good Health and Well-Being,” as early diagnosis through AI technologies enhances survival rates, improves health awareness, and contributes to building a healthier and more sustainable society.

Almustaqbal University, The First University in Iraq.
