As part of the ongoing scientific activities of the Department of Optics Technologies at the College of Health and Medical Technologies, Future University, the department held a training workshop entitled “How to Choose the Suitable Frame Using Artificial Intelligence”, presented by lecturer Ayman Ali. The workshop included a detailed explanation of how to employ artificial intelligence techniques to select the most suitable eyeglass frame for each user, based on precise criteria such as face shape, proportional dimensions, skin tone, and eye measurements, in addition to analyzing the user’s personality and visual needs. The lecturer also reviewed the latest algorithms used in smart-frame recommendation systems, along with interactive models demonstrating how modern systems are utilized in clinics and optical shops. The workshop aimed to enhance students’ skills and develop their abilities in using modern digital technologies, thereby improving their professional competence and keeping pace with ongoing advancements in the field of medical optics.
