The Department of Medical Instrumentation Engineering Techniques at Al-Mustaqbal University organized an awareness campaign titled "Say No to Drugs... Say Yes to Life" for its third-year students. The event took place on 11/16 and was supervised by Mr. Ali Kareem, as part of the extracurricular activities aimed at promoting health and social awareness among the students. This activity comes in response to the urgent need to educate young people about the dangers of drug abuse and its serious repercussions on physical and psychological health, as well as on the future of the individual and society. The campaign included the presentation of simplified scientific information regarding the physiological effects of drugs on vital body systems, particularly the nervous and circulatory systems, in addition to highlighting the role of medical technology and modern devices in early detection and treatment. The campaign also featured an open discussion between students and faculty members on mechanisms for protecting youth from this phenomenon and ways to promote a healthy and positive lifestyle. This event aims to reinforce the concept that a drug-free life is the path to a safe and fruitful future, encouraging students to make conscious and responsible decisions.
