The Department of Archaeology at the College of Arts and Humanities – Al-Mustaqbal University organized a scientific seminar on campus titled "The Impact of Climate Change on Archaeological Sites and Heritage Locations in Iraq." The seminar was presented by Dr. Fawziah Mahdi Al-Malki, who addressed the main environmental threats to archaeological heritage, highlighting mechanisms to mitigate the risks of climate change and ways to protect sites from erosion and deterioration. The event was attended by several faculty members and students of the department and included in-depth discussions that enriched the topic with significant scholarly contributions, reflecting a clear interest in heritage preservation and the advancement of specialized studies in this field.
