The Department of Archaeology at Al-Mustaqbal University holds a scientific seminar titled “The Psychological and Social Effects of Drugs.” Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, and under the direct supervision of the Dean of the College of Arts and Humanities, Prof. Dr. Hussein Waheed, and with the follow-up of the Head of the Department of Archaeology, Dr. Angham Saleem, the Department of Archaeology organized on Monday, 17/11/2025, a scientific seminar as part of the Iraqi Anti-Drug Week activities titled “The Psychological and Social Effects of Drugs.” The seminar was presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Farhan Zuwair, who discussed the most prominent behavioral, psychological, and social consequences resulting from drug abuse, emphasizing the importance of promoting community awareness to reduce this phenomenon.
