Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Arts and Humanities, Prof. Dr. Hussein Waheed, and with the follow-up of the Head of the Department of Archaeology, Dr. Angham Saleem, the students and faculty of the Department of Archaeology took part in an awareness campaign inside the university campus that included the distribution and posting of educational posters aimed at reducing the spread of drug abuse. This participation came within the activities of the Iraqi Anti-Drug Week, where the Department of Archaeology was keen to contribute to raising community awareness about the dangers of this phenomenon and its impact on both individuals and society, stemming from its academic and educational role in promoting preventive culture among students.
