IIn alignment with the fourth Sustainable Development Goal (Quality Education), the Department of Optics Technologies organized a scientific field trip to Al-Ain Social Care Foundation – Babylon Branch, under the supervision of Assistant MSc Alaa Mohammed Abdul-Abbas and Ms. Nabaa Yaseen Hussein, with the aim of enhancing the practical experience of the students and allowing them to apply the skills they have gained during their studies. During the visit, the students conducted visual examinations for the children enrolled in the foundation, including visual acuity testing and identifying cases that require medical follow-up. This initiative aims to raise awareness about the importance of early eye examinations, in addition to fostering a spirit of volunteerism among the students. The foundation’s administration praised the students’ efforts and the department’s role in providing humanitarian services that support and care for children. AL-Mustaqbal University ranks first among private universities.
