In alignment with the Third Sustainable Development Goal (Good Health and Well-Being), Ms. Zahraa Abbas Ali and Ms. Ghufran Sabah Ne’ma organized an awareness campaign titled “Dry Eye… Prevention Before Treatment” at the University of Babylon. The campaign aimed to promote health education among students and enhance their awareness of the causes of dry eye disease and methods of prevention. The campaign included a simplified explanation of the common symptoms of dry eye and the factors that increase the risk of developing it, especially among individuals who use electronic devices for extended periods. It also featured practical health guidelines to maintain eye moisture and protection, in addition to distributing informational leaflets to students. Ms. Zahraa and Ms. Ghufran emphasized the importance of early detection and consulting specialists when symptoms persist, noting that promoting health awareness among students is a key step in preventing complications. This activity comes as part of the student initiatives aimed at fostering a health-conscious environment within the university and promoting visual well-being among the student community. AL-Mustaqbal University ranks first among private universities.
