Participation of Dr. Lenover in the World Congress of Cataract Surgeons and Laser Refractive Error Correction – Cairo 2025

In alignment with the fourth Sustainable Development Goal (Quality Education), Dr. Lenover Ali Hammoud, a faculty member in the Department of Optics Technologies at Al-Mustaqbal University, participated in the World Congress of Cataract Surgeons and Laser Refractive Error Correction, held in Cairo, Arab Republic of Egypt, from October 5–7 of this year. Dr. Lenover’s participation aimed to highlight the latest advancements in cataract surgery techniques and innovations in laser vision correction, in addition to exchanging expertise with leading ophthalmic surgeons and international researchers. The conference also featured presentations of recent studies on improving surgical accuracy, developing optical measurement tools, and enhancing visual outcomes for patients. Dr. Lenover emphasized that attending this global event represents an important step toward advancing specialized knowledge in the field of optics, and transferring international expertise to the university’s students and staff, thereby contributing to elevating the scientific and practical standards of the department. This participation reflects Al-Mustaqbal University’s ongoing commitment to developing the skills of its faculty members and supporting their engagement with regional and global scientific communities.
