The Department of Medical Instrumentation Engineering Techniques organized a scientific seminar titled "The Science of Lasers – The Science of Lasers" attended by a group of faculty members and students, where the seminar addressed the scientific fundamentals of lasers and their medical and industrial applications, clarifying the mechanisms of their generation and transmission inside materials and their effect on biological tissues. The seminar was supervised by Asst. Lecturer Huda Wasfi and Eng. Narjis Haider, and the lecture was presented by Wissam Ali Nouri and Hussein Ali Jasim. The session witnessed fruitful discussions and questions reflecting the students' interest in this vital and advanced field. This activity is part of a series of scientific seminars aimed at expanding the students' knowledge and strengthening their research aspect in modern medical technologies, thereby contributing to the qualification of personnel capable of dealing with laser devices and their applications within healthcare institutions in the future.
