In alignment with Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education), Ms. Fatima Haider Al-Azzawi, a faculty member in the Department of Optics Technologies, participated in the International Conference of Science and Information Technology in Smart Administration, which was held in Indonesia on 29/11/2025, with her research titled: “A Deep Learning System for Network Attack Detection Using the Attention Mechanism and Sparse Autoencoder.” Her research was considered one of the strong and significant contributions presented in the conference sessions, as it introduces a promising approach in the field of network security and cyber-attack detection using advanced deep learning techniques. The study received wide attention from attendees and specialists due to its scientific and practical value in enhancing early detection capabilities for network threats and supporting the development of intelligent protection systems. This participation comes as part of the college’s efforts to support scientific research and engage with reputable international conferences, thereby strengthening its academic and research presence on the global stage.
