The Medical Devices Engineering Technology Department at Al-Mustaqbal University organized an awareness campaign for third-year students titled "Save Your Energy… Save Your Planet" on November 26, under the supervision of Dr. Ziad Taher Yassin, Dr. Osama Jabir Ghaib, and Ms. Hiba. The campaign aimed to raise awareness about the importance of energy conservation and its role in protecting the environment, reducing emissions, and preserving the planet’s resources. The event highlighted the connection between daily energy consumption and its direct impact on environmental changes, in addition to offering practical guidelines that help students reduce waste through simple, applicable daily practices. The campaign also included an explanation of different energy sources and the consequences of excessive use, along with practical examples on reducing consumption both on campus and at home. Students participated in interactive discussions and questions, which enhanced their understanding of the individual’s role in supporting sustainability and environmental protection.
