Within the framework of student activities aimed at enhancing community awareness, a group of students from Al-Mustaqbal University organized an awareness workshop titled "Drugs: Their Dangers and Impact on Society," under the supervision of the Student Activities Department. Organizing Participants: · Student Ahmed Hamza Abis · Student Afnan Razzak Falah · Student Banin Ali Hussein The workshop, held in the Student Activities Hall, covered several key topics: 1. Introduction to the types of drugs, their classifications, and their health effects. 2. The psychological and social impacts of addiction on individuals and families. 3. The economic and security repercussions of the spread of this scourge. 4. The role of youth in prevention and combating the spread of drugs. 5. Positive alternatives for investing youth time. A large number of students and faculty members attended the workshop, which included presentations and open discussions. Participants expressed their appreciation for this student-led initiative, emphasizing the importance of raising awareness about the dangers of drugs, especially among young people, and expressing hope for the continuation of such awareness events. Al-Mustaqbal University ranks first among private universities in Iraq.
