Prof. Dr. Hussein Waheed, Dean of the College of Arts and Humanities, accompanied by Dr. Angham Saleem, Head of the Department of Archaeology, welcomed the new students interested in enrolling in the department. During the meeting, the students were introduced to the nature of study in the Department of Archaeology and the academic and field courses included within its curriculum. The session provided an overview of the department’s objectives, study plans, and the skills students are expected to acquire throughout their academic years, in addition to outlining future opportunities available in the fields of archaeology and cultural heritage. This meeting comes as part of the department’s efforts to strengthen communication with new students and provide a clear academic environment that helps them make informed and confident decisions about their studies.
