During the workshop, Professor Al-Masoudi provided a comprehensive presentation on the world's latest developments in cancer chemotherapy, focusing on modern molecular mechanisms, targeted drug delivery techniques, and global trends in the design of smart therapies. The workshop featured a notable participation from the research team of Professor Al-Masoudi..., supervised by Dr. Nabil Abdul Redha from Al-Qadisiyah University, and Assistant Lecturer Ahmed Mohammed Yousif, a faculty member at Al-Mustaqbal University – Department of Biochemistry, who presented his advanced research work on preparing β-lactam derivatives and studying their efficacy against breast cancer. This research project is considered one of the promising directions in developing effective and targeted cancer treatments. --- This participation reflects an active and influential Iraqi scientific presence in the field of pharmaceutical research and highlights the dedicated efforts to develop innovative compounds that could bring about a qualitative shift in cancer treatment.
