The Department of Medical Instrumentation Engineering Techniques at Mustaqbal University organized a scientific training workshop for third-year students on the Electrocardiogram (ECG) device on 6/12. The workshop was supervised by Assistant Lecturer Mustafa Fahad, Assistant Lecturer Fatima Hassan, and Assistant Lecturer Maryam Nawwar, as part of the scientific activities aimed at strengthening the practical side and linking theoretical knowledge with field application. The workshop included a simple and comprehensive explanation of the working principle of the ECG device, the mechanism of its use inside laboratories, and a clarification of its vital role in monitoring the heart's electrical signals and diagnosing cardiac conditions. The workshop also featured intensive practical training on the device's components, the correct method for electrode placement, and reading a preliminary electrocardiogram. The workshop aimed to develop the students' technical skills and raise their proficiency in dealing with modern medical devices, thereby enhancing their readiness for the job market and consolidating the department's approach to supporting applied education and elevating the students' scientific and professional level.
