The Department of Optics Technologies Conducts an Introductory Activity on the Department’s Vision and Objectives in the Student Registration Hall

In alignment with the fourth Sustainable Development Goal (Quality Education), and as part of the Department of Optics Technologies’ efforts to strengthen communication with new students and introduce them to the nature of the specialization and its future prospects, the department organized a promotional and introductory activity inside the student registration hall, delivered by Mr. Hussein Salem and Ms. Tamara Nihad. The activity included a comprehensive explanation of the department’s vision and academic objectives, in addition to highlighting the skills students acquire throughout their years of study and the career opportunities available in the fields of visual care and health technologies. The presenters also emphasized the vital role that the optics specialization plays in serving the community and supporting the healthcare sector through qualified personnel equipped with strong technical and scientific competencies. The event witnessed significant interaction from new students, who expressed great interest in learning more about the academic path and the professional prospects associated with this important field. This initiative comes as part of a series of introductory activities carried out by the Department of Optics Technologies to support students’ academic orientation and enhance their awareness of available specializations, helping them make informed academic choices that align with their skills and aspirations.
