Under the patronage of the esteemed University President, Prof. Dr. Hasan Shaker Majdi, and the direct supervision of the esteemed Dean of the College of Sciences, Prof. Dr. Furat Hamza Al-Sultani, the Department of Biochemistry at the College of Sciences organized an awareness exhibition on Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS). This event falls within the framework of activities aimed at spreading health awareness among university students. The exhibition featured scientific posters and educational materials addressing the modes of transmission of the disease and methods of prevention. It emphasized the importance of early testing and treatment, and worked to correct misconceptions associated with the disease, contributing to limiting its spread and combating social stigma. The exhibition witnessed notable interaction from students and faculty members, reflecting the university's commitment to supporting health initiatives and enhancing its scientific and humanitarian role in community service.
