A faculty member from the Department of Archaeology at the College of Arts and Humanities, Al-Mustaqbal University, organized a brochure distribution campaign in the university corridors, highlighting the first gold dinar in Islamic history, which was minted in 77 AH during the reign of Caliph Abd al-Malik ibn Marwan. The campaign aimed to enhance students’ historical awareness and to introduce the significance of this dinar as a symbol of monetary independence and Islamic cultural identity, reflected in its Kufic inscriptions and religious texts of important historical significance.
