The Department of Business Administration, under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Haider Al-Dulaimi, Dean of the College, and in coordination with the Iraqi Insurance Company, organized a workshop entitled: “Insurance Vision in Iraq 2030 to Promote Sustainable Development”. The workshop was presented by Mr. Baha Zuhair, Director of the Iraqi Insurance Company, and attended by Asst. Prof. Dr. Amjad Hamid and Lecturer Hamid Jassim Alwan. It addressed the role of insurance in serving the national economy by compensating for losses arising from insured risks, as well as its role in contributing to economic development, given that insurance holds significant funds and financial resources that can be invested in various economic activities.
