1-The Department of Mechanical Power Technologies Engineering at Al-Mustaqbal University was established alongside the university in 2010, based on the administrative order issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, No. C5/3989 on August 31, 2010 and the Honorable Council of Ministers Resolution No. 427 of 2009.
2-The department aims to produce graduates who are well-versed and fully knowledgeable in the engineering principles and practical applications related to air conditioning, refrigeration systems and renewable energy. This is achieved by providing the latest educational tools and equipping laboratories with rich experimental devices, enabling graduates to become applied engineers capable of executing, designing and supervising the installation of refrigeration systems and various types of renewable energy systems .
The vision of the department is to be leaders in the field of technical innovation in both branches of the Mechanical Power Technologies Engineering: the Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Branch and the Renewable Energy Branch. We strive to develop sustainable and smart solutions in refrigeration, air conditioning, and renewable energy
1-that meet the needs of society and contribute to environmental preservation.
2-We believe in the importance of sustainability and transitioning towards more efficient and sustainable technologies in this field .
1-Equipping graduated with the ability to effectively contribute to community service and solve specialized
2-industrial problems to advance the country’s economic reality.
3-Additionally, preparing graduates with practical industrial expertise by incorporating modern technological methods into the department’s curriculum .
1-The Department of Mechanical Power Technologies Engineering aims to qualify its graduates to become applied engineers capable of preparing preliminary designs for air conditioning, refrigeration, and freezing systems specifically, and mechanical devices in general. They will be able to execute, design, and supervise the installation of various refrigeration systems.
2-The department also aims to develop sustainable energy generation technologies and systems, reducing dependence on traditional energy sources that cause environmental pollution .
