Brothers and sisters, the teaching staff, employees, and students of the Almustaqbal University College: Almustaqbal University College provides the service of the International Information Network (Internet) and official email because of the role of information technology as an important utility in scientific research and the publication of information between the teaching staff and students and positive communication, which achieves the vision of the college to create a research environment that meets The ambition of the college is in line with the policy of the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. therefore We call the staff of the college and dear students to adhere to the following points when using the college network connected to the International Information Network (Internet).

  • 1- These controls include the entire college’s network, whether wired or wireless, and the college’s official email.
  • 2- The college provides the internet access to the employees to assist them to doing their jobs and duties that assigned to them which related to the college it must be used for purposes related to their jobs and not used for other purposes that were not related to the work.
  • 3- In order to obtain the Internet and e-mail service, the user must have a known user name and password from the information technology unit, and it is prohibited to use the Internet without a user name in any way.
  • 4- The college has the right to monitor every activity the user performs on the Internet, record it, issue reports in this regard, and stop it when he does not adhere to this policy.
  • 5- The college has the right to block any site or group of sites as needed.
  • 6- E-mail, username and password are the sole responsibility of his user only and he / she is fully responsible for any misuse registered to him.
  • 7- In the case of the user's resigning or leaving the university, all his accounts will be suspended immediately, Then all his accounts will be deleted except in exceptional cases and under the direction of the concerned department.
  • 8- The official university email is used for official Mailing and any other email is prohibited.
  • 9- The College's Internet connection is not used for any unlawful or unlawful purposes or inconsistent with public morals.
  • 10- Not to attempt to deceive or corrupt security measures on college network resources or any other system that is connected to the Internet or can be accessed through the Internet. If this is proven, the employee will be subject to legal accountability.
  • 11- It is forbidden to add, delete or amend network information in an attempt to deceive or mislead, and it is also prohibited to attempt to impersonate a person through forged information through the college network.
  • 12- It is prohibited to use the Internet to send unsolicited emails. It also prohibits any activity that facilitates the process of sending these messages, whether the message’s content is commercial or otherwise.
  • 13- Creating services that allow others to access your device, try to access other people's accounts, or try to breach the college's security procedures is prohibited.
  • 14- It is prohibited to obtain personal or work-related information or to attempt to obtain it to third parties without the knowledge or consent of the persons concerned. Such as taking personal information of an official of the college and sending it to another party without his knowledge and approval.
  • 15- It is forbidden to re-provide the internet service provided by the college to an external party without obtaining a license from the Information Technology Unit.
  • 16- The Internet can only be accessed using the College's network only and no other method may be used. Such as using a commercial internet and connecting it to the college network without the knowledge of the information technology unit and taking written consent to do so.
  • 17- Not to download all types of programs from the Internet and install them on the college computers. In the case that it is necessary to download work-related programs , please contact the information technology unit in the college.
  • 18- The use of computers and end users connected to the server is within the official working time. (In the case of outside the official working hours, the names of the employees must be submitted to the Information Technology Unit).
  • 19- Do not forge your identity on the Internet as someone else. (Impersonation in the Internet).
  • 20- Not to use the Internet in a way that impedes the use of others, such as spreading viruses or sending service prevention messages
  • 21- Not to enter suspicious websites to penetrate and download hacking or spying programs on university devices or personal devices inside the university.
  • 22- Not to hack sites or devices inside or outside the university’s network using any devices or any method, with or without intent.
  • 23- When you have connected to the Internet from inside the college, your identity on the Internet is the identity of the college, so you should be considered a representative of the university and that your activities on the Internet should be in accordance with the college policy and laws.
  • 24- Any mailing or discussion posts in any discussion group using the official college mail is considered official correspondence of the college and should not be misused.
  • 25- College network users should not download any copyrighted material or any other material that is copyright infringement unless it is authorized by the administrator of these rights.
  • 26- The college has the right to take the measures it deems appropriate against those who violate these controls.
