Honoring Ceremony for College of Education Students Participating in the "Colors and Mental Health" Workshop

The Center for Continuing Education, in collaboration with the College of Education/Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit, organized an honoring ceremony for students from the Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences who participated in the "Colors and Mental Health" workshop, which was held from April 8-9, 2025, as part of the cooperation between the college and the center. The honoring ceremony was held on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, in Hall 105, Engineering Building, at 10:00 AM. Certificates of participation were distributed to the students by Assistant Professor Dr. Reda Abdel-Ati El-Fishawy, Director of the Center for Continuing Education at Future University, in recognition of their effective contribution to the workshop. During the ceremony, Professor Dr. Thanaa Bahaa El-Din Abdullah, a counseling and psychotherapy specialist, course director, and head of the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit at the College of Education, was also honored for her efforts in organizing the workshop.

Conclusion of the specialized training program in "Occupational Health and Safety" in cooperation with the Babylon Electricity Department.

Under the generous patronage of Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Magdy, the esteemed President of the University, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Muzaffar Al-Zuhairi, the esteemed Scientific and Academic Supervisor, the specialized training program in occupational health and safety concluded. The program was organized by the Continuing Education Center at Al-Mustaqbal University in cooperation with the Babylon Electricity Department. This program falls within the framework of the university's commitment to supporting occupational safety practices and promoting a safe work environment. It aims to raise the efficiency of workers in the electricity sector and develop their knowledge and skills in the areas of occupational hazard prevention, thus contributing to reducing accidents and ensuring the continuity of work with high quality and efficiency. This training program also achieves Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-being) and Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) of the Sustainable Development Goals. The training program covered a range of vital topics, most notably: Basic concepts and principles of occupational health and safety Methods and techniques for assessing risks in various work environments Proper use of personal protective equipment First aid procedures and handling emergency incidents Strategies for reducing occupational accidents and raising awareness of safe practices Basic life support (BLS) for field workers The program witnessed remarkable interaction from participants, who showed great interest in the theoretical lectures and practical workshops presented by a group of academics and specialists in this field. In his closing remarks, Professor Muzaffar Al-Zuhairi emphasized that Al-Mustaqbal University, through the Center for Continuing Education, continues to implement quality programs aimed at raising the level of professional performance and serving state institutions and the local community. He praised the fruitful cooperation with the Babylon Electricity Department. For her part, Assistant Professor Dr. Reda Abdel-Ati El-Fishawy, Director of the Continuing Education Center, explained that this course is part of a series of development programs aimed at spreading a culture of occupational safety and enhancing the efficiency of technical and engineering personnel, in accordance with the highest locally and internationally recognized standards. At the conclusion of the program, the lecturers and participants were honored in recognition of their effective contributions and commitment to applying the acquired concepts to serve the work environment and enhance public safety.

Continuation of the specialized training program in occupational health and safety in cooperation with the Babylon Electricity Department.

Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Magdy, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, and in the presence of Professor Dr. Muzaffar Al-Zuhairi, Scientific and Academic Supervisor at the University Presidency, the University's Continuing Education Center launched the first day of the specialized training program in "Occupational Health and Safety." The program, in cooperation with the Babylon Electricity Department, targets a select group of engineering and technical personnel within the department. The event began with a speech by Professor Dr. Muzaffar Al-Zuhairi, in which he emphasized the importance of promoting a culture of safety and prevention in the workplace. He noted that specialized and qualitative training has become a fundamental pillar in reducing accident rates and improving performance and productivity, especially in vital sectors such as the electricity sector. Al-Zuhairi also emphasized the importance of integrating efforts between universities and state institutions, explaining that Future University places community service among its strategic priorities and that this course falls within the Sustainable Development Goals, specifically Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-being) and Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals). For her part, Dr. Reda Abdel-Ati El-Fishawy, Director of the Continuing Education Center, explained that the program aims to raise awareness of occupational health and safety concepts, empower participants to effectively manage risks, promote the proper use of personal protective equipment, and provide them with basic first aid and life support skills. This training program comes as part of Al-Mustaqbal University's efforts to strengthen its community partnerships and consolidate its pioneering role in serving local development and developing the capabilities of workers in vital sectors.

The national exam continues at the Continuing Education Center at Al-Mustaqbal University under the direct supervision of the center's administration.

The national exams are proceeding successfully at the Continuing Education Center at Al-Mustaqbal University, amidst a distinguished organizational atmosphere and close supervision by the center's administration. This is part of the university's commitment to ensuring transparency and academic quality across all aspects of the educational process. The exams were conducted under the direct supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Reda Abdel-Ati El-Fishawy, Director of the Center, and Assistant Professor Abdel-Ali Dakhel, Scientific Assistant. Emphasis was placed on providing a suitable examination environment for students and ensuring adherence to the central instructions approved by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. Assistant Professor Dr. Reda Abdel-Ati El-Fishawy emphasized that the center is committed to applying the highest standards in organizing the national exams, praising the cooperation of the teaching and administrative staff in ensuring smooth procedures. For his part, Assistant Professor Abdel-Ali Dakhel explained that the exams are being conducted according to pre-planned plans that ensure students' comfort and provide them with full support during the exam period. It is worth noting that the Continuing Education Center at Future University continues its effective role in supporting the educational and training process by holding various courses and exams in accordance with national standards.

An introductory meeting for medical students at Al-Mustaqbal University in preparation for the UK Imperial English Test.

In accordance with the directives of the esteemed President of Al-Mustaqbal University, and as part of the university's ongoing efforts to support and prepare its students academically, the Continuing Education Center organized an introductory meeting for first-year students at the College of Medicine to introduce them to the English Language Proficiency Test. Assistant Professor Dr. Reda Abdel-Ati El-Fishawy, Director of the Continuing Education Center, visited the College of Medicine and met with Professor Dr. Walaa Louay Al-Falluji, Dean of the College, to coordinate and prepare for the test. The meeting included a comprehensive explanation of the importance of the proficiency test in developing students' academic language skills and its role in enabling them to meet the requirements of studying in English in medical specialties. The names of students wishing to participate were also listed, and technical and administrative procedures for the test were arranged in the coming days. This activity is part of the university's strategic plan to raise the linguistic and academic level of its students, in line with international standards in medical education. Participants are scheduled to receive a certificate accredited by the British Council, in cooperation with the university's Continuing Education Center.

Strengthening joint cooperation between the Continuing Education Center at Al-Mustaqbal University and the Babylon Electricity Distribution Branch in the field of training and development.

Assistant Professor Dr. Reda Abdel-Ati Al-Fishawi, Director of the Continuing Education Center at Al-Mustaqbal University, today received a delegation of training officials from the Babylon Electricity Distribution Branch, including Engineer Ali Jawad Kazim and Engineer Qais Hamid. The delegation discussed mechanisms for joint cooperation in organizing training courses proposed by the center and developed the necessary implementation plans for their launch in the coming days. A group of Babylon Electricity Department employees were nominated to participate in the "Occupational Health and Safety" course, which is currently under implementation. Several specialized training programs were also discussed, which will be developed in later stages. A set of proposals related to distance learning courses were also presented in cooperation with Mansoura University. This will enable the selection of programs most appropriate to the needs of the department's technical and administrative staff, contributing to the development of a comprehensive action plan that will enhance the paths of joint cooperation between the two parties.

A coordination meeting to establish an integrated electronic platform for the Continuing Education Center at Al-Mustaqbal University.

As part of the Al-Mustaqbal University Continuing Education Center's efforts to develop work mechanisms and enhance administrative and technical efficiency, Assistant Professor Dr. Reda Abdel-Ati El-Fishawy, Director of the Center, accompanied by Professor Abdul Ali Dakhel Jassim, Assistant Director of the Center, held an important meeting today with Professor Wameed Diaa Shamsi, the University's Website Administrator. The meeting aimed to coordinate the creation of an integrated electronic system for the Center, including a comprehensive database of training activities, trainers, and participants. This will contribute to improving the quality of services provided and accelerating and facilitating organizational, follow-up, and evaluation procedures. This step is part of the Center's strategy for digital transformation, in line with modern trends in education and training management. It underscores the Center's commitment to using technology as an effective tool in developing the work environment and achieving its development goals.

A tour by the Director of the Continuing Education Center and the Assistant Director to follow up on the progress of the national exam.

As part of the Continuing Education Center's commitment to ensuring the examination process operates according to the highest standards, Assistant Professor Dr. Reda Abdel-Ati El-Fishawy, Director of the Center, accompanied by Assistant Professor Abdul-Ali Dakhel, Assistant Director, conducted a field tour to inspect the progress of the national examination held at the center. The tour aimed to assess the readiness of the examination halls, monitor compliance with examination instructions, and provide a conducive environment for students to take their exams smoothly. The supervisors also listened to comments from a number of students and observers and affirmed their continued full support to ensure the success of the examination at the Continuing Education Center.
