Al-Mustaqbal University Holds Celebration at the Al-Mustaqbal Center for AI Applications in the Presence of the Babylon Governor and Council Director

Al-Mustaqbal University held an official celebration at the Al-Mustaqbal Center for Artificial Intelligence Applications, in recognition of its outstanding academic achievements after securing first place in Iraq in the Times Higher Education Interdisciplinary Science Rankings (ISR) 2026, as well as ranking second nationally and first among private universities in the QS World University Rankings: Sustainability 2026, marking a distinguished scientific achievement that reflects the University’s leading position locally and internationally. The celebration was attended by Babylon Governor Mr. Adnan Fayhan and Director of the Babylon Provincial Council Mr. Salem Al-Muslimawi, along with a number of officials and prominent academic and governmental figures. The visiting delegation was welcomed by the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, and the Director of the Al-Mustaqbal Center for Artificial Intelligence Applications, Prof. Dr. Nidhal Khdhair Al-Abbadi, who highlighted the importance of such visits in supporting partnerships between the University and governmental institutions, leveraging artificial intelligence technologies to serve the community and promote sustainable development. Al-Mustaqbal AI Center Staff Participate in Specialized Training on Emergency Planning

Eng. Ahmed Salim Monger, a staff member of the Al-Mustaqbal Center for AI Applications, participated in a specialized training course organized by the American Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) titled: "Emergency Planning". Eng. Monger’s participation aimed to enhance professional expertise and develop practical skills in occupational safety and health, in line with the center’s vision to support engineering staff and provide them with the latest global knowledge and standards. The training emphasized the importance of establishing effective emergency plans for industrial and engineering facilities, outlining the steps for prevention and response to emergencies, ensuring the safety of personnel, and minimizing potential risks.
