Al-Mustaqbal Center for Artificial Intelligence Applications has completed the digital library project for the Al-Mustaqbal Book Fair, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Nidal Khudair Al-Abadi and implemented by Dr. Ahmed Adnan, one of the center’s staff, as part of preparations for the fifth edition of the fair in 2026.
This achievement reflects the center’s efforts to enhance digital transformation in the cultural and knowledge sectors, allowing visitors and researchers to access a wide range of books and scientific resources electronically. Advanced AI technologies are employed to improve search and browsing experiences efficiently.
Project officials emphasized that this initiative represents a qualitative addition to the Al-Mustaqbal Book Fair, providing a fully integrated digital environment that supports knowledge dissemination and encourages innovation. The project also aligns with several Sustainable Development Goals, particularly:
Goal 4 (Quality Education): By providing high-quality digital knowledge resources.
Goal 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure): Through applying AI technologies in the cultural sector.
Goal 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities): By offering an accessible digital learning and cultural environment.
The Al-Mustaqbal Book Fair serves as an innovative cultural platform that integrates technology with culture, opening new horizons for those interested in science and innovation across various fields, reinforcing Iraq’s position as a hub of knowledge and innovation in the region.
