Al-Mustaqbal Center for Artificial Intelligence Applications at Al-Mustaqbal University, in cooperation with the College of Health and Medical Technologies / Department of Anesthesia Techniques, has developed an applied medical project represented by designing a smart device that calculates intravenous drip rate per minute, equipped with an audio alarm system when the fluid is finished. The project aims to enhance healthcare efficiency and improve the accuracy of medical monitoring by utilizing artificial intelligence technologies and modern engineering solutions. The center explained that this innovation helps reduce human errors in calculating IV drip rates and provides an accurate tool that supports healthcare staff in performing their duties more efficiently. The project also strengthens students’ practical skills and promotes innovation in the medical field, keeping pace with rapid technological advancements in the healthcare sector. This achievement aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly: Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being Goal 4: Quality Education Goal 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals Al-Mustaqbal University – The Leading Private University in Iraq
