Al-Mustaqbal Center for Artificial Intelligence Applications Participates in the Scientific Conference at Jabir Ibn Hayyan University for Medical and Pharmaceutical Sciences

The Al-Mustaqbal Center for Artificial Intelligence Applications participated in the scientific conference organized by Jabir Ibn Hayyan University for Medical and Pharmaceutical Sciences, as part of its scientific activities aimed at promoting the culture of digital transformation and artificial intelligence. The conference was held on the occasion of launching the first issue of the university’s research bulletin and honoring a number of distinguished researchers. During the conference, Prof. Dr. Nidhal Khudhair Al-Abbadi, Director of the Center, delivered a scientific lecture highlighting the role of modern technologies and artificial intelligence in developing scientific research and advancing the performance of academic institutions. He also reviewed the importance of utilizing artificial intelligence tools in analyzing research data and enhancing scientific innovation. Dr. Al-Abbadi emphasized the importance of universities keeping pace with global technological developments and integrating artificial intelligence applications into the scientific research system, which contributes to improving the quality of research outputs and strengthening scientific cooperation among researchers. Dr. Ahmed Adnan Hadi Delivers a Lecture on the Optimal Use of Artificial Intelligence in Editing Academic News

Dr. Ahmed Adnan Hadi, a member of the Al-Mustaqbal Center for Artificial Intelligence Applications at Al-Mustaqbal University, delivered a scientific lecture entitled “The Optimal Use of Artificial Intelligence in Editing Academic News.” The lecture was presented on the sidelines of the training course organized by the Presidency of Al-Mustaqbal University titled “Developing Linguistic and Media Skills for Website Administrators.” The lecture addressed the role of artificial intelligence technologies in developing academic media work, particularly in editing and writing university news in a professional manner that keeps pace with the digital transformation in modern media. Dr. Hadi also reviewed a number of AI-based tools and applications that contribute to improving the quality of news content and accelerating editing and linguistic proofreading processes, while emphasizing the importance of the responsible use of these technologies to maintain the scientific credibility of academic institutions. The lecture witnessed active engagement from the participants of the training course, where discussions were held on mechanisms for employing artificial intelligence in managing media content for university websites, in a way that enhances the digital presence of academic institutions and keeps pace with the rapid transformations in digital media. This training course comes as part of Al-Mustaqbal University’s efforts to develop the skills of media and administrative staff working in website management and to enhance the quality of academic media discourse in line with the requirements of modern digital media.

The visit included a specialized scientific workshop delivered by Prof. Dr. Hilal Abdulhussein, titled: "Artificial Control – PLC" The workshop covered the fundamentals of intelligent control systems, methods of employing artificial intelligence techniques in signal processing and electrical systems, in addition to practical examples and applied models that enhance students’ practical understanding. Future Center Hosts a Specialized Workshop on Scientific Research Platforms within the Smart Work Environment Framework

Al-Mustaqbal Center for Artificial Intelligence Applications organized a specialized workshop titled “Scientific Research Platforms”, delivered by Dr. Meyas Mohammed Mahdi, as part of the Smart Work Environment framework emphasized by the Presidency of Al-Mustaqbal University to enhance and technologically develop its academic and administrative staff. The workshop presented an in-depth overview of the most prominent global research platforms and demonstrated how to effectively utilize them to support researchers and students. It also covered advanced search tools, methods for managing scientific sources, and best practices for improving research quality in accordance with international standards. Additionally, the workshop highlighted the importance of mastering these platforms to improve access to research databases and foster a culture of high-quality academic publishing within the university. Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, and as part of the training series organized by the Al-Mustaqbal Center for Artificial Intelligence Applications, a specialized workshop titled “Literature Review Platforms” was held on Sunday, 9 November 2025, delivered by Dr. Mayas, with wide participation from several university colleges. This workshop is part of the university’s strategic program aimed at advancing digital transformation and integrating artificial intelligence technologies into academic and administrative operations. The training highlighted the importance of modern digital platforms in enhancing research efficiency, supporting academic writing, and strengthening scientific research capabilities. The workshop targeted staff members from the College of Administrative Sciences, College of Law, College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, College of Fine Arts Education, and the College of Education. The session focused on introducing participants to key literature-review platforms, methods of evaluating scientific sources, and tools that aid researchers in managing references and reviewing academic materials effectively. Power BI Workshop to Enhance Digital Transformation and Achieve Sustainable Development Goals at Al-Mustaqbal University

Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, and as part of the ongoing series of workshops and lectures on digital transformation and artificial intelligence for staff development, the workshop was organized and supervised by the Al-Mustaqbal Center for Artificial Intelligence Applications. The specialized workshop titled “Power BI” was held on Sunday, 9 November 2025, delivered by Dr. Ahmed Al-Janabi, with wide participation from staff members of multiple colleges. The workshop targeted staff from the College of Medicine, College of Dentistry, College of Nursing, and College of Agriculture, focusing on data analysis, creating interactive reports, and making informed decisions using the Power BI platform. This workshop is part of the university’s strategy to advance digital transformation and integrate artificial intelligence tools to enhance academic and administrative efficiency, while supporting Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) such as: Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being, through improved management of health data in medical colleges. Goal 4: Quality Education, by developing academic staff skills in data analytics. Under the Patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University: Digital Transformation and AI Workshops Kick Off with Wide Participation

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, the first workshop on Digital Transformation and Artificial Intelligence was launched on Saturday, November 8, 2025, organized by the Al-Mustaqbal Center for Artificial Intelligence Applications, with the participation of a large number of faculty members, colleges, and university departments. The program began with the opening lecture delivered by Prof. Dr. Nidhal Khdhair Al-Abbadi, Director of the Center, who discussed modern concepts of digital transformation and the role of artificial intelligence in developing educational and administrative systems. He emphasized the importance of investing in smart technologies to enhance academic and institutional performance.
