Ongoing Summer Training Workshops at Al-Mustaqbal University to Empower Engineering Students in Artificial Intelligence

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, the esteemed President of Al-Mustaqbal University, and under the direct supervision of the Al-Mustaqbal Center for Artificial Intelligence Applications, in cooperation with the Center for Continuing Education, the summer training workshops for students of the College of Engineering and Engineering Technologies continue. The workshop was led by programmer Sarah Sadoon Abbas and featured a series of scientific presentations prepared and delivered by several students, including Riam Ahmed, Hussein Qasim, and Mohammed Qaisar. These activities align with the academic goals of the workshop to develop students’ technical and research capabilities in the field of artificial intelligence, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 4: Quality Education. Interactive Workshop on Preparing and Delivering Academic Seminars

Under the generous patronage of Professor Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, and under the direct supervision of the Al-Mustaqbal Center for Artificial Intelligence Applications, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Center, a developmental training workshop was organized as part of the summer training program for students of the College of Engineering and Engineering Technologies. The workshop aimed to enhance students' abilities in designing and delivering presentations and seminars for their graduation projects. It was led by programmer Sarah Sadoon Abbas, who provided hands-on guidance on creating interactive slides, effective delivery techniques, and organizing content in a professional and academic format. Several students presented their projects during the session, followed by interactive feedback and constructive discussions that highlighted strengths and identified areas for improvement, contributing to their academic and personal growth. Training Workshop on Developing Smart Control Interfaces for Arduino Projects Using RemoteXY

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, and in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals — particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure) — the Center of Al-Mustaqbal for Artificial Intelligence Applications held a practical training workshop titled: 🔹 "Developing Smart Control Interfaces for Arduino Projects Using RemoteXY" The workshop took place on Saturday, July 12, 2025, as part of the summer training program for students of the College of Engineering and Engineering Technologies. It was delivered by Eng. Mohammed Saad Abees, an expert in embedded systems and smart technologies. The session focused on teaching students how to design interactive smartphone interfaces to control Arduino projects using the RemoteXY platform. Through live, hands-on implementation, students were able to bridge theoretical knowledge with real-world application, enhancing both their technical skills and creative thinking. Scientific Participation by Prof. Dr. Nidhal Khdhair Al-Abbadi

Prof. Dr. Nidhal Khdhair Al-Abbadi, Director of Al-Mustaqbal Center for Artificial Intelligence Applications, participated in a specialized online workshop held on Thursday, July 17, 2025, at 12:00 PM, under the title: "University Ranking Systems and Evaluation Criteria". The workshop addressed global standards in university ranking and the role of artificial intelligence in enhancing institutional academic performance. Prof. Dr. Nidhal delivered a scientific intervention in which he discussed strategies for improving university rankings through the use of intelligent data analytics and academic quality indicators, while also presenting the Center's efforts in supporting Al-Mustaqbal University's leadership goals. This participation reflects the Center’s commitment to contributing to the advancement of university performance and strengthening the scientific presence of Iraqi higher education institutions. Under the generous patronage of Professor Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, and under the direct supervision of the Al-Mustaqbal Center for Artificial Intelligence Applications, and in collaboration with the Continuing Education Center, a specialized training workshop was held as part of the summer training program for students of the College of Engineering and Engineering Technologies. The workshop was titled: 🔹 "Modern Robotics and VEX Robotics System" It was delivered by Dr. Musadaq Maher Abdulzahra, Director of the Artificial Intelligence Incubator at Al-Mustaqbal University. The workshop covered several key topics, including an introduction to intelligent robotic systems, the fundamentals of programming control using the VEX environment, and the role of this technology in developing students' practical and engineering skills. The workshop also featured demonstrations of real-world models and educational applications that utilize these systems in interactive learning environments. The students showed remarkable engagement, and the session significantly contributed to enhancing their knowledge of modern technologies in artificial intelligence and educational robotics.
