As part of strengthening academic cooperation and activating the provisions of the signed agreement, the Quality Assurance Department at Al-Mustaqbal University held a coordination meeting today, Thursday, with the Quality Assurance team at Mansoura University.
The meeting addressed several key topics related to quality assurance and academic accreditation, aiming to exchange expertise, align perspectives on mechanisms for enhancing institutional and program performance, and support the implementation of best practices in quality management systems.
This meeting comes within a series of coordination efforts intended to strengthen academic partnerships and effectively activate joint agreements, in a manner that positively reflects on the quality of higher education and contributes to achieving the strategic objectives of both institutions in the fields of quality assurance and accreditation.
As part of its ongoing efforts to enhance the quality of higher education and ensure quality standards, the Academic Accreditation Division/Institutional Accreditation Unit at Al_Mustaqbal University conducted a field visit to the College of Medical and Health Technologies.
The visit aimed to audit the college's compliance with institutional accreditation requirements and to assess the effectiveness of its application of quality standards and indicators, thereby ensuring the improvement of educational outcomes.
The visiting team was received by the College's Director of Quality, Dr. Ahmed Obaid Najm, along with several faculty members and standards officials.
This visit aligns with the university's commitment to implementing accreditation standards as a tool for sustainable development and preparing graduates capable of supporting the private sector.
Al-Mustaqal University celebrated the College of Pharmacy's achievement of international program accreditation from the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), an academic accomplishment that reflects the university's commitment to quality and excellence.
Representatives from the university administration affirmed that the accreditation was the culmination of a comprehensive institutional effort that met international standards in curriculum, faculty competence, infrastructure, scientific research, and quality assurance. They noted that this achievement enhances the university's academic standing both locally and internationally. The ceremony concluded with the honoring of several professors who contributed to this achievement.
Al-Mustaqbal University celebrated the achievement of its Faculty of Pharmacy in obtaining international program accreditation from the American Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), during an official ceremony held at the university, in the presence of the President of the University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Magdy, the Assistant Presidents, Deans of Faculties, Directors of Departments, and a group of professors and students, in an atmosphere that reflected the extent of pride in this qualitative academic achievement.
During the visit of the Director of the National Center for Administrative Development and Information Technology to Al-Mustaqbal University, and with the participation of the Department of Quality Assurance and University Performance, emphasis was placed on enhancing avenues of joint cooperation through activating the agreement concluded with the Ministry of Planning, in a manner that supports quality pathways and institutional development within the university.
This step comes as part of the efforts of the Department of Quality Assurance to support institutional partnerships and activate joint programs in accordance with national and international standards, contributing to the achievement of accreditation requirements and institutional excellence at Al-Mustaqbal University.
The Department of Quality Assurance and University Performance at Al-Mustaqbal University, in cooperation with the Ministry of Planning / National Center for Administrative Development and Information Technology, organized a specialized training workshop entitled “Academic Quality Management in Accordance with International Standards – A Journey Toward International Accreditation.” The workshop was attended by quality assurance officers from the university’s colleges and academic departments.
The workshop addressed key topics related to strengthening academic quality concepts, national and international accreditation requirements, and best global practices in quality management, as part of the university’s ongoing efforts to institutionalize a culture of quality and enhance overall institutional performance.

Al-Mustaqbal University organized an honorary ceremony to recognize the academic and administrative staff who contributed to achieving advanced positions for several university departments in the Iraqi University Rankings, under the patronage of the University President.
The Quality Assurance and University Performance Department emphasized that this achievement is the result of institutional collaboration and the integration of efforts among deans, heads of departments, and quality officers, reflecting the university’s commitment to quality standards and academic excellence.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, the University President honored the contributors to this achievement in appreciation of their dedication and outstanding efforts.
In its ongoing efforts to enhance the quality of education and achieve academic excellence, the Accreditation Division conducted an audit visit to the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences to monitor its compliance with institutional accreditation requirements. A meeting was held with the Dean and representatives of the accreditation standards committee, and observations were documented for the purpose of addressing them and reinforcing strengths, all with the aim of providing a robust educational environment.
