Al- Mustaqbal University is being honored by the Ministry of Higher Education & Scientific Research

It is remarkable to note that Al- Mustaqbal University has been honored by the Ministry of Higher Education & Scientific Research / Student Activities Department, in recognition of the achievement that has been accomplished by Student Activities Department at Al- Mustaqbal University by obtaining First Place among Private Universities & Colleges for the Academic Year 2023-2024, noting that it the sixth time, respectively.

Iraq Participates in the Third International Scout Forum in Kuwait

It is remarkable to note that an Invitation has been forwarded from Mr. Jalal Al-Tabtabaei, the Kuwaiti Minister of Education to His Excellency Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, Minister of Higher Education & Scientific Research, represented by Dr. Asaad Kadhim Maki Al-Khafaji, Head of the Ministerial University Scouts Committee and Member of Iraqi Scouts Council who has Chaired the Delegation that has participated in the "Third International Scout Forum for Youth Empowerment", being under the Slogan: Leadership & Influence. The Forum has aimed to Developing Youth and enhancing their Leadership Skills, as well as sharing others Experiences and Expertise. We are obliged to note that the Delegation has included, in addition to Dr. Assad Al-Khafaji, the Membership of the following Scouts and Guides • Mr. Muhammad Ahmad Mahmoud / University of Baghdad • Mr. Muhammad Hazim Muhammad / University of Anbar • Ms. Sara Zuhair Muhammad / Al-Mustaqbal University • Ms. Hajir Hussein Ali / University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa In his Statement, Dr. Asaad Al-Khafaji has clarified that participating in this Forum is considered a Notable Achievement to be added to the Continuous Accomplishments attained by the Ministry of Higher Education & Scientific Research, and specifically to the Academic Scouting in Iraq.

Al-Mustaqbal University Participates in the Third International Scout Forum in Kuwait

We would like to note that Al-Mustaqbal University has participated in the "Third International Scout Forum for Youth Empowerment", being under the Slogan: Leadership & Influence, noting that this Forum was organized in Kuwait during the period 11th – 17th January 2025. There is no doubt that such participation has provided a notable opportunity, where Cultural Communication and Exchange of Experiences among Youth from different Countries can be effectively promoted and prolonged. Besides, the Event has been focusing on the vitality of building Team Spirit and promoting Scouting Values at global level. Accordingly, we do encourage our Students to actively participate and use these opportunities so as to broaden their Cultural Horizons and develop their Skills.

Al-Mustaqbal University Wins Over Al-Safwa University at a Volleyball Game

We would like to note that the Volleyball Team of Al-Mustaqbal University has managed to win over Al-Safwa University at a Volleyball Tournament arranged by Student Activities Department of the Ministry of Higher Education & Scientific Research. This Tournament however has been organized in Al-Najaf Al-Ashraf with the participation of a large number of Iraqi Universities. Besides, we are obliged to tell that the Match has witnessed somehow hard competition between the two teams, with Al-Mustaqbal University Players submitting an Outstanding Performance & Exceptional Team Play that has resulted in a Superb Winning.

Qualifiers of Iraqi Universities Volleyball Championship

We would like to note that during the period 10th – 19th December 2024, Iraqi Universities Volleyball Championship Qualifiers, Male and Female, for Middle Euphrates Region, were hosted by Middle Euphrates Technical University and Islamic University. The Opening Match has been between Al-Mustaqbal University and Al-Hillah University, where our team, after playing a wonderful game, has managed to win the match. We do wish more Progress and Great Successes to Our Lovely Team.

Al-Mustaqbal University Celebrates the Anniversary of Victory Day

On the Occasion of the Great Victory Day against the Remnants of ISIS that coincides on 10th of December, Student Activities Department at Al-Mustaqbal University has organized a National Campaign, in which Iraqi Flags with Flowers have been distributed to Police Stations and Departments, as well as Security Patrols, expressing their Gratitude and Appreciation for the Sacrifices submitted by Our Security as well as Popular Mobilization Forces. On this Occasion, Al-Mustaqbal University extends its Warmest Congratulations and Blessings to Iraqi People, Our Heroic Security Forces, as well as the Popular Mobilization Forces, recalling their Heroism & Sacrifices that have shaped this Great Victory. We do pray to God Almighty to protect Iraq and its People from all types of harm, spreading His Great Mercy upon Our Martyrs, and granting our Heroic Wounded a Speedy Recovery.

Conclusion of University Forum for Scout & Guide Officials

Under the Patronage of His Excellency Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, Minister of Higher Education & Scientific Research, the University Forum for Scout and Guide Officials, being organized by Student Activities Department at the Authority of Scientific Supervision & Evaluation, has been recently concluded after lasting for five days in the Holy City of Karbala. We are obliged to note that the Forum has witnessed wide participation of Scouts & Guides representing Public and Private Universities, where the Forum Program has included Volunteer & Awareness-Raising Activities that have mainly aimed to promoting Teamwork Values and Community Services. At the end of the Forum, Student Activities Department Delegation of Al-Mustaqbal University has been honored in recognition of their efforts and active participation. This Forum however is deemed a Leading Platform for exchanging experiences and developing Youth Skills, emphasizing meanwhile the role of Universities in the Promotion of National Spirit among Students and through all Community Members.

Al-Mustaqbal First Annual Festival for People of Determination 2023 under the Slogan "I can & you can"

On the Occasion of International Day of Persons with Disabilities & Special Needs, Student Activities Department, Unit of Disabilities & Special Needs at Al-Mustaqbal University has organized Al-Mustaqbal First Annual Festival for People of Determination 2023 under the Slogan "I can & you can". It is remarkable to note that the Festival has been attended by Prof Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, and Assist Prof Dr. Munthir Fadhil Hassan, the President Assistant for Administrative Affairs, with a Large Gathering of Guests, Administrative as well as Teaching Staff, and many Artistic & Cultural Personnel. The Festival has included lots of divergent activities, including a Bazaar, Painting & Photo Exhibition, Success Stories narrated by People of Determination in Iraq, in addition to other Initiatives, displaying their participation in the Fields of Art, Culture, Knowledge, Sports, Inventions, and other Achievements. However, the Festival has aimed to highlight the capabilities that People of Determination do own, being an essential part of our community, and it is quite vital that we should integrate them into Society, and thus benefiting from their abilities in all Fields & Specializations. For his part, Mr. Ahmed Hasan Shakir, Head of Student Activities Department at Al-Mustaqbal University, has confirmed that the Festival shall be organized annually as part of the University Vision, which focuses on Supporting Persons with Disabilities & Special Needs, and meeting all what they require so that they become Active Members within their Society, exploiting their abilities in all Fields of Innovation. It is remarkable to note that the Festival shall proceed on Monday with its various Activities as stated above, in addition to Artistic Performances played by Watar Band under the Leadership of the Artist Mr. Ahmed Al-Usta in the Gardens of Al-Mustaqbal University.
