This initiative is part of the administration's continuous efforts to celebrate achievements and motivate employees to contribute more in the field of sustainable technology. On this occasion, Dr. Azhar Mohsen Abd, Director of the Technological Incubator Division, honored the staff for their significant efforts in promoting innovation and achieving sustainability in the technological projects executed by the division over the past year. The Technological Incubator Division Participates in the Third Edition of the Future Sustainability Week

The Technological Incubator Division participated in the activities of the third edition of the Future Sustainability Week, held under the theme "Innovation for a Sustainable Future", with the participation of several academic, technological, and environmental institutions, as well as a group of specialists and those interested in the fields of sustainability and innovation. The incubator's booth witnessed significant interest from visitors and enthusiasts, as it showcased a selection of the most prominent technology-based projects supported by the division. These projects aim to promote sustainable solutions and leverage technology to serve both the environment and society. Success stories of entrepreneurs and innovators who benefited from the incubator’s support in developing their ideas into operational projects contributing to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) were also presented. Assistant Professor Azhar Mohsen Abd, Director of the Division, emphasized that participating in the Future Sustainability Week aligns with the incubator’s strategy to support innovation and strengthen partnerships with key stakeholders in the field of sustainability. His Excellency, the Minister of Higher Education, honors the President of the University of Al-Mustaqbal and its affiliates for achieving first place in the Iraqi National Ranking.

In a remarkable event, Al-Mustaqbal University was honored by His Excellency the Iraqi Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, after securing first place in the 2024 Iraqi University Ranking. This outstanding achievement reflects the university s commitment to academic excellence, innovation in education, and its active role in the development of higher education in Iraq. The minister extended an official letter of appreciation to the university’s president, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, and all its members, in recognition of their tremendous efforts in achieving this milestone. He emphasized that this honor highlights Al-Mustaqbal University’s leadership role in promoting academic and research excellence, as well as enhancing the reputation of Iraqi universities both regionally and internationally. Coordination Meeting Between the Technology Incubator Division and the Student Activities Division at the College of Engineering – Future University

As part of its efforts to enhance integration between its academic and administrative units, the Technology Incubator Division held a joint meeting with the Student Activities Division at the College of Engineering – Al Mustaqbal University . Several members of the Student Activities Division attended the meeting, where discussions focused on developing the Activities Platform, which aims to organize and document student events and innovative projects within an integrated electronic environment. The attendees also discussed mechanisms to enhance student interaction with the platform and proposed updates to align it with technological and educational advancements. At the conclusion of the meeting, it was agreed to match the approved activities with the printed ones to increase work accuracy and to form joint task forces to follow up on implementation, ensuring the achievement of the desired objectives.

Meeting of Al Mustaqbal University Presidency with the Technological Incubator Division – Website Department to Discuss Digital Platform Development On Tuesday, February 13, 2025, a comprehensive meeting was held between the presidency of Al Mustaqbal University and the Technological Incubator Division – Website Department, attended by Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Magdy, President of the University, along with the website management and development team. The meeting focused on discussing ways to update and enhance the university s website in line with global academic ranking standards. New technical proposals were presented to improve user experience, enhance the site s speed and security, and add interactive features for students and faculty members. The university president emphasized the importance of adopting the latest technologies in website development to reflect the university’s academic and scientific standing. He also stressed the need for seamless integration between the website and the university’s digital systems to provide smart and user-friendly services. The Website Department team reviewed the current technical challenges and proposed solutions to upgrade the website s infrastructure and improve its visibility in search engines. A timeline was also agreed upon to implement the updates within a comprehensive digital development strategy. At the conclusion of the meeting, the university president commended the efforts of the technical team, urging them to continue their hard work in achieving a significant transformation in digital services, thereby enhancing the university’s ranking and increasing student and user satisfaction.

Al mustaqbal University Ranks First Among Private Universities and Colleges in Iraq in the Webometrics Ranking The President of Al mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Magdy, announced that Al mustaqbal University has achieved first place among private universities and colleges in Iraq in the Spanish Webometrics ranking. The university ranked 15th nationally out of 115 participating Iraqi universities. Additionally, the university secured the 3,219th position globally among 25,000 participating universities, reflecting its success in meeting international standards. In this regard, Assistant Professor Dr. Azhar Mohsen Abdul, Director of Information Technology and Dean of the College of Engineering, highlighted the university’s remarkable progress in leadership, competition, development, and excellence. The Webometrics ranking (also known as Webmatrix) is based on a set of global criteria used to evaluate universities and academic institutions. It measures the presence and impact of these institutions' websites on the internet. The key criteria include: Visibility: This criterion reflects the university’s reputation and efficiency in the field of education. Transparency: It measures the number of scientific and research documents available online, such as published papers, articles, and theses, indicating the institution’s level of academic output. Scholar (Rich Files): This focuses on the number of significant academic files (such as journal articles and theses) hosted on the university’s website and frequently cited in global research. It measures the impact of the university’s research output. These criteria are combined to provide a comprehensive assessment of an institution’s position in the digital space. Universities strive to improve their performance in each of these areas to enhance their global ranking. This achievement is a testament to the university’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its reputation both locally and internationally. It reflects the continuous dedication of faculty members and students in their pursuit of academic and research excellence.
