As part of its strategic vision to enhance academic and scientific cooperation, and under the direct guidance of the President of University of Al-Mustaqbal, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, the Scientific and Academic Supervision Office at the University Presidency convened a specialized meeting to discuss mechanisms for activating memoranda of understanding and agreements concluded with leading local and international universities, as well as with state institutions, federations, and organizations related to the higher education sector. The meeting aimed to maximize the benefits of these partnerships in areas of mutual interest. The meeting was chaired by the Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, Professor Dr. Muzaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, and was attended by the Director of the Department of Cultural Relations, Dr. Samir Badrawi, along with the liaison officers representing the University’s colleges. During the meeting, Professor Dr. Al-Zuhairi emphasized the importance of moving beyond the stage of signing agreements to actual and effective implementation. He stressed the need for direct communication with counterparts in partner universities and institutions with which memoranda of understanding have already been signed, as well as the establishment of clear priorities and actionable plans supported by defined timelines. He also highlighted the necessity of documenting all official correspondence and related procedures, and of regularly monitoring progress in order to evaluate outcomes and enhance the efficiency of academic and scientific partnerships. This approach aligns with University of Al-Mustaqbal’s vision of academic openness, internationalization, and the exchange of expertise. This meeting forms part of a series of steps adopted by University of Al-Mustaqbal to maximize the impact of its institutional collaborations, advance its educational and research programs, and strengthen its active presence within the higher education system at both the local and international levels.
