Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, the Women’s Affairs Division, in cooperation with the Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Arts and Humanities, and presented by Asst. Lect. Rusul Naama Kamal, is organizing a workshop entitled: “Women’s Empowerment and Education: The Path toward Sustainable Development” The workshop will be held on Sunday, January 18, 2026. This workshop aims to highlight the role of education in empowering women and enhancing their effective participation in society and the labor market. It also seeks to raise awareness of the importance of gender equality in accessing fair and inclusive educational opportunities. The workshop focuses on building capacities and skills that enable women to contribute to economic and social development, emphasizing that educational empowerment of women is a fundamental pillar for achieving sustainable development in the long term. This activity comes in implementation of the Third National Action Plan for Women, Peace, and Security / Prevention and Protection Pillar, and in support of the Sustainable Development Goals (Goal 4: Quality Education). Al-Mustaqbal University ranks first among private universities.
