Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, and with the participation of the Dean of the College of Science, the Women’s Affairs Division at Al-Mustaqbal University, in cooperation with the Department of Forensic Evidence in the College of Science, organized a scientific workshop entitled “Developing the Academic and Professional Skills of Women.” The workshop was held on Wednesday, 21/1/2026, in the Student Activities Hall – Old Medical Building – Ground Floor, at 10:00 a.m., with the attendance of a number of teaching staff and students. The workshop aims to enhance women’s academic and professional capacities and empower them to develop their scientific and practical skills, contributing to supporting their active role in society and the labor market, and achieving sustainable development. The workshop included valuable scientific lectures delivered by: Mrs. Huwayda Nazzal Hussein Mrs. Waqar Janat Jasim This activity comes in line with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly: Goal 4: Quality Education through supporting continuing education and building academic capacities. Goal 5: Gender Equality through empowering women and enhancing their participation. Goal 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth through developing professional skills and preparing women for the labor market. The Department of Forensic Evidence affirms its keenness to hold scientific and awareness activities that contribute to supporting and empowering women and enhancing their role in academic and professional development.
