Under the patronage of the respected President of Al-Mustaqbal University, the Women’s Affairs Division at Al-Mustaqbal University, in cooperation with the College of Engineering / Department of Biomedical Engineering, carried out an awareness and guidance campaign entitled “Enhancing Women’s Mental Health and Building a Supportive and Safe University Environment” on 20/1/2026. This campaign was conducted in line with the provisions of the Third National Action Plan for Women, Peace and Security / Protection and Prevention Pillar for the year 2025, particularly Paragraph Two, which emphasizes the importance of health awareness for women and the promotion of healthy lifestyles. The campaign aimed to raise awareness of the importance of mental health as a fundamental pillar of women’s well-being and the quality of their academic and social life, highlighting the impact of academic and social pressures on psychological balance and the necessity of adopting positive practices that contribute to the prevention of anxiety, stress, and psychological exhaustion. The activity included a guidance lecture that addressed the concept of mental health and its importance, outlining the most prominent psychological challenges that women may face in the university environment and healthy ways to deal with them. It also discussed the importance of psychological and social support and its role in enhancing self-confidence and the ability to adapt positively. The campaign further focused on providing practical guidelines to help women care for their mental health, such as stress management, time organization, and promoting positive communication, while emphasizing the importance of providing a university environment that considers psychological aspects and supports women’s well-being. This activity comes within the efforts of the College of Engineering to enhance awareness of women’s mental health, in alignment with the objectives of the Third National Action Plan for Women, Peace and Security for the year 2025, contributing to women’s empowerment and the building of a balanced and healthy university community.
