Under the patronage of the respected President of Al-Mustaqbal University, the Women’s Affairs Division, in cooperation with the College of Health and Medical Technologies / Department of Anesthesia, organized an awareness campaign through the distribution of brochures entitled “Polycystic Ovary Syndrome and Its Impact on Fertility” on 10/1/2026, in support of the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-Being). The campaign was conducted within the framework of implementing the Third National Action Plan for Women, Peace and Security / Prevention and Protection Pillar – Paragraph Three. The campaign addressed Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) as a common condition affecting women of reproductive age due to hormonal imbalance that impacts the ovulation process. It highlighted the most common symptoms and the associated risks, including type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, fertility problems, and an increased risk of endometrial cancer, in addition to clarifying methods of prevention and treatment.
