Iraq achieves distinction by ranking first in the Arab world and seventh globally in the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 2024, confirming the quality of educational services in Iraqi universities, their diverse academic programs, their alignment with sustainable development paths and goals, their ability to confront challenges, adapt to changes, raise awareness, and provide scientific solutions. The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announced Iraq's top ranking in the Arab world and seventh globally in the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 2024, based on the number of participating universities in the 2024 edition, which saw competition from 2152 institutions across 125 countries worldwide. Based on these achieved results, Iraqi higher education and scientific research institutions are confidently advancing university performance quality, providing a positive educational environment that meets the demands for scientific knowledge and technical skills required to serve the community. They align with the standards of good education and academic accreditation, synergizing with the sustainable development goals of the United Nations.
