Al-Mustaqbal Center for AI Applications Develops Smart Medical Robot for Patient Oxygen Monitoring
The Al-Mustaqbal Center for AI Applications at Al-Mustaqbal University has developed a smart medical robot arm capable of monitoring a patient’s face and automatically applying an oxygen mask when blood oxygen levels drop. This innovation, designed by Engineer Mohammed Saad Abais, focuses on improving healthcare by providing an immediate response to emergency situations. The robot intelligently monitors patients and administers oxygen at the right moment, making it a vital tool in hospitals and emergency rooms. This project aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being and Goal 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure, enhancing healthcare efficiency and offering smart solutions for critical care management.
