Director of Quality Assurance Participates in the Shanghai Ranking Workshop at the University of Baghdad
The Director of the Quality Assurance Division at Al-Mustaqbal University participated in the central workshop on the Shanghai Ranking for Universities and Academic Disciplines, organized by the Apparatus of Supervision and Scientific Evaluation and hosted by the University of Baghdad. The workshop aimed to discuss the Shanghai Ranking criteria, analyze the academic and research performance of Iraqi universities, and explore effective strategies to enhance their standings in international rankings. During the workshop, Asst. Prof. Dr. Omar Al-Fatlawi provided an in-depth explanation of the strengths and weaknesses in the academic and research performance of Iraqi universities, along with strategies to improve research quality and increase publications in high-impact international journals. This participation aligns with Al-Mustaqbal University’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its position in global rankings and achieve academic and research excellence in accordance with international standards.
