As part of strengthening scientific and academic cooperation with Egyptian universities, a delegation from the AL-Mustaqbal University, headed by Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Magdi, President of the University, visited the Arab Republic of Egypt. The delegation included Prof. Dr. Munther Fadhel, Administrative Assistant, Prof. Dr. Mudhaffar Al-Zuhairi, Academic Supervisor, Mr. Abed Al-Ridha Shaker, Director of the Office Affairs Department, Prof. Dr. Walaa Al-Faluji, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Rahman, Associate Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, and Dr. Riyad Al-Fallahi from the Faculty of Business Administration. During the visit, the delegation met with the Iraqi Ambassador to Cairo, Dr. Qahtan Taha Khalaf, at the Embassy, who praised the reputation and excellence of AL-Mustaqbal University in Iraq. He emphasized providing the necessary support to achieve the objectives of the delegation’s visit to the Egyptian universities. The delegation also met with Dr. Ahmed Abdel Ghani Morsi, the Deputy Minister of Higher Education in Egypt, at the headquarters of the Egyptian Ministry of Higher Education. During the meeting, ways to enhance cooperation between AL-Mustaqbal University and Egyptian universities in higher education were discussed, with a focus on joint initiatives to support sustainable development in education and promote technological innovation. The discussions emphasized the importance of exchanging experiences, organizing training courses, and expanding scientific communication links between AL-Mustaqbal University and Egyptian universities. This visit represents a significant opportunity to build strategic partnerships between the universities of both countries, aiming to achieve sustainable development goals and foster innovation in the education sector. Additionally, the delegation conducted a series of visits, meeting with the Presidents of several Egyptian universities and various officials. They signed cooperation protocols, including with Prof. Dr. Sherif Yousef Khattab, President of Mansoura University, and during their visit to the 6th of October University, they were received by Prof. Dr. Heba Farouk Selim. They also visited Helwan University, where they met with the University President and his assistants.
