AL_Mustaqbal University (UOMUS) has achieved a significant milestone in the University Ranking by Academic Performance (URAP) 2025, securing the 1676th position globally, marking a 639-rank improvement compared to last year. At the national level, AL_Mustaqbal University ranked first among private universities and colleges in Iraq and fourth overall, following Baghdad University, the University of Technology, and Salahaddin University. This remarkable achievement underscores the university’s excellence in academic and research performance. In a statement to the university’s media office, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of AL_Mustaqbal University, emphasized that this advancement reflects the institution’s commitment to enhancing scientific research, promoting international publications, and supporting faculty members and researchers. He highlighted that the URAP ranking is one of the world’s most influential university performance assessments, relying primarily on the quality and global impact of scientific research. It is worth noting that the URAP ranking evaluates universities based on several key criteria, including research quality, publication volume, citation impact, and international research collaboration.
