A Scientific Workshop on Arduino and Microcontrollers to Support Sustainable Development Goals
Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, the AI Applications Center at Al-Mustaqbal University held a scientific workshop on Tuesday, March 18, 2023, as part of a specialized series on Arduino and microcontrollers. The workshop was delivered by Engineer Mohammed Saad Abais, focusing on microcontroller programming and Arduino board applications, along with practical uses in various fields. The workshop aims to enhance students' abilities in designing and implementing smart systems and automation, contributing to several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Specifically, it supports SDG 9 on industry, innovation, and infrastructure, and SDG 4 on quality education, by empowering students with modern technical skills. Additionally, it promotes SDG 7 on affordable and clean energy by encouraging innovative control systems for energy management. Al-Mustaqbal University, the top private university in Iraq.
