As part of its commitment to promoting sustainability concepts and achieving sustainable development goals within its institutional strategy, Al-Mustaqbal University carried out a comprehensive assessment to more than 450 of the university staff and around 2500 students to measure the extent of academic staff knowledge and awareness of the culture of sustainable development and its basic information. The assessment, which was carried out under the supervision of the Sustainable Development office, included a set of questions and criteria designed to measure the level of understanding of concepts related to environmental, economic and social sustainability, and the role of universities in achieving sustainable development goals. The university also is using The Sustainability Tracking, Assessment & Rating System(STARS) tool, which is a transparent, self-reporting framework for colleges and universities to measure their sustainability performance. The evaluation showed positive interaction from faculty members in various colleges, many of whom expressed the importance of integrating sustainable development concepts into study plans and research activities, stressing the need to enhance this trend in the educational process. The university administration confirmed that the results of the evaluation will be used to design training programs and workshops aimed at raising the efficiency of academic staff in this field and expanding the knowledge base of the principles of sustainable development, thus contributing to creating a conscious and responsible university environment towards the future. This evaluation is part of a series of initiatives adopted by Al-Mustaqbal University to be one of the leading universities in integrating sustainability concepts into all its educational and administrative practices. for more information: https://aashe.users.membersuite.com/community/directory/organization/6faf90e4-0007-cc46-b719-0b44b43ec553?membershipId=6faf90e4-0074-cefd-d51d-0b47d3a7f9b3&isPhysicianDirectory=false
